Mt. Kanchenjunga ExpeditionMt.Kanchenjunga (28,169Ft.) is the third highest mountain in the world. Between 1838 and 1839 was supposed to be the highest mountain. It is a giant mountain-mass and many satellite peaks rise from its narrow icy ridges. It is situated on the border of Nepal and India, just 46 miles northwest of Darjeeling. It is the most easterly of the great 8,000m peaks of the Himalaya Mt. Kanchenjunga was first climbed British nationality on 25 May 1955 by Joe Brawn and George Band.
