This trek passes through a mixture of beautiful mountain scenery and the terraced fields and characteristic houses of rural villages from different ethnic groups. The good hospitality of the local people could make your trekking quite interesting and unforgettable. The route of Hille Bhanjyang goes uphill passing through forests enriched with bamboo, pine, oak, rhododendron and alpine vegetation. Passing Buddhist monasteries, Tamang and Sherpa villages reach the sacred site of the five glacial lakes of Panch Pokhari. The top of Panch Pokhari (4100m) offers an excellent view of Jugal Himal Range, Rolwaling Range, Gosaikunda, Kanchenjunga and Makalu. The last day of the trip we will ride back to Kathmandu from Melamchi Bazaar crossing the Melamchi River and over viewing the Melamchi Drinking water project.
